Established to facilitate projects and programs designed to enhance the value of Session Woods as an educational and cultural resource, the Friends of Sessions Woods sponsor activities facilitating access to the park. They also raise money, through donations and grants, to fund special projects to enhance the property. The Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area is located in Burlington, just west of Hartford, Connecticut. The facility hosts a Conservation Education Center as well as several wilderness trails. The facility is open for hiking, trail running, and educational activities. More information about upcoming events held at the Conservation Education Center may be found on their website.
